Viimeisen vajaan viikon aikana pennut tuntuvat edenneen taas huimasti kohti isompien koirien elkeitä :). Ipanat kävelevät jo aika hyvin pienillä töppöjaloillaan, ja ovat käyneet nyt muutaman kerran ulkoilemassa ja haistelemassa isoa maailmaa pihalla. Pentujen korvat ovat myös avautuneet ja ne töpöttävät yleensä luokse kun niitä kutsuu. Myös painitaidot kehittyvät päivä päivältä, ja on kivaa vetää siskoja korvista ja hännästä ja pureskella niitä muutenkin (puhumattakaan ihmissormista).. kaikki tämä toistaiseksi ilman hampaita, mielenkiinnolla odotamme neulanterävien pentuleegojen puhkeamista (auts!)! Kaikki tytöt ovat vapauttaneet itsensä pentulaatikosta jo ainakin kerran, kaikkein houdineimmaksi on osoittautunut töpöhäntäinen black&tan joka on karannut jo ainakin 5 kertaa :P. Pennut ovat alkaneet syödä myös kiinteää ruokaa ja madotettu nyt ensimmäisen kerran (aikataulu on madottaa 3, 5 ja 7 viikon iässä). Lähetin pentueilmoituksen Kennelliittoon eilen ja toivon mukaan pentujen omat rekisteripaperit tulevat paluupostissa lähitulevaisuudessa, tätä voi hieman tällä kertaa kyllä venyttää Peikon rekisteröinti Suomeen (vielä kesken vaikka rekisteröinti aloitettu maaliskuussa lonkka- ja kyynärkuvien arvostelun tiimoilla..).
Uusia pentukuvia tulossa pian, kamerasta löytyy runsain mitoin kuvia esim. lauantailta 4.8. odottamassa editointia..
Sunnuntaina 5.8. isäpappa Peikko kävi ekassa näyttelyssään Turussa saaden EH:n italialaiselta Antonio di Lorenzolta. Arvostelu: "Correct bite. Good proportion and angulation. Typical tail. Short neck. Very good head & movement."

During the last a bit under a week the puppies seem to have made a big leap again towards bigger dogs :). They walk fairly well already on their small feet, and have been out in the garden a couple of times to get a little sniff of the big world out there. They can also hear now and usually come when called. Wrestling skills are also getting better day by, and it's fun pulling the other puppies' ears and tails, and chewing them as well as human fingers...without teeth so far though (can't wait for the needle-like puppy teeth to appear - ouch!)! All the girls have now climbed out of the puppy box at least once, with the bobtailed black&tan leading the score with about 5 escapes :P. The puppies have started eating solid food and been dewormed once so far (the schedule is to deworm at 3, 5 and 7 weeks old). The litter registration form left for the Finnish Kennel Club yesterday, hopefully the puppies' pedigrees arrive in not too distant future (although may be a bit delayed by the fact Peikko's registration to the FKC is still not complete yet, it seems to take months and months at the moment to register imports).
